What better visuals do for your project

Sell before it is built

Renderings and rendered tours let buyers and investors commit to spaces that only exist on paper.

Fewer wasted showings

People who have already toured online arrive knowing the layout and are more serious about it.

Reach distant buyers

Out-of-town and overseas buyers can explore a property or venue without travelling.

Clearer approvals

Context views and massing studies help committees, lenders and neighbours understand a proposal.

3D visualization and virtual tours

Visuals that help people decide

Buyers, tenants and guests now make up their minds before they visit. Canada Create™’s 3D rendering and virtual tour services give them something real to look at first: photorealistic 3D rendering of spaces that are not built yet, 360 virtual tours of spaces that are, drone photography that shows the whole site in context, and AR/VR experiences people can step into from a phone or headset. We plan, produce and publish these visuals, then put them to work on your website, listings and ads, so they bring in enquiries instead of sitting in a shared folder.

We have been building websites and marketing for businesses across Canada and the United States since 2008. Canada Create™ is BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, our sales and support line is open 24/7* at +1 (800) 808-9235. Tell us what you need to show and who needs to see it, and you will get a proposal in one business day.

What 3D rendering and virtual tour services include

Most projects combine two or three of the formats below. A developer selling condos off plan needs 3D architectural rendering and a rendered virtual tour long before there is anything to photograph. A finished retail space or event venue needs a photographed 360 tour and aerial photos that show parking, access and surroundings. A builder marketing a new community may need all four, plus an interactive site map.

  • 3D rendering and 3D visualization: still images of exteriors, interiors, amenities and aerial views, built from drawings, CAD or BIM files.
  • Virtual tours: 360 panoramas linked into a walkthrough, either rendered from a 3D model or captured on site with a 360 camera.
  • Drone services: aerial photography, aerial video and aerial photography mapping for sites, properties and progress documentation.
  • AR and VR: models that open in augmented reality on a phone, and immersive walkthroughs for VR headsets or the browser.
  • Publishing and marketing: hosting, embedding, page speed, tracking and campaigns that send the right people to the visuals.

The point of combining them under one team is consistency. The same model that produces your hero rendering can produce your virtual tour, your AR model and your sales centre screen content, so colours, finishes and lighting match everywhere a buyer sees them.

3D rendering services for spaces that are not built yet

3D rendering turns plans into images people can react to. Floor plans and elevations make sense to architects and trades. Buyers, investors, planning committees and lenders respond to a picture of the finished space with light coming through the windows and furniture in the rooms.

Exterior rendering

Exterior rendering shows a building in its real setting: street, landscaping, neighbouring buildings, time of day and season. For projects in Canada we pay attention to details that make an image believable here, such as winter light, snow on grade where it helps the story, and plantings that actually grow in your climate zone. Aerial renderings combine the model with drone photography or map data so the project sits in its true context.

Interior rendering

Interior rendering sells finishes and layout. We model cabinetry, flooring, fixtures and lighting from your specification sheets, then stage the rooms so buyers understand scale. Finish packages can be rendered as variations of the same camera view, which lets a sales team show standard and upgrade options side by side.

Architectural visualization for approvals and presentations

Architectural visualization in 3D is also a communication tool inside the project. Massing studies, shadow views and context images help at community meetings and design reviews. If your practice needs a steady flow of stills for competitions and client presentations, our dedicated page on architectural rendering services for Canadian architects covers that work in detail.

What we need from you

Good renderings start with good inputs. The most useful files are CAD drawings or a BIM or SketchUp model, elevations and sections, a finish schedule with product names, a site plan, and any reference images of the mood you want. Where files are incomplete we flag the gaps before modelling starts, because guessing a window size or a railing detail is how revision rounds multiply.

360 virtual tours: rendered, photographed or both

A virtual tour lets someone walk through a space at their own pace, from anywhere. It is a set of 360 panoramas linked by hotspots, with a floor plan or map so the viewer always knows where they are. Tours can include labels, pop-up information, video, pricing notes and a button that opens your contact form.

Rendered virtual tours

A rendered tour is built from the same 3D model as your stills. Each viewpoint is rendered as a full 360 panorama and linked into a walkthrough. Developers use rendered tours to pre-sell suites, amenities and model homes that do not exist yet, and to let out-of-town buyers explore without travelling to a sales centre.

Photographed virtual tours

A photographed tour is captured on site with a 360 camera. It suits finished homes, offices, clinics, restaurants, venues, gyms, schools and any business where people want to see the space before they visit or book. We plan the capture path so the tour follows the route a real guest would take, and we shoot at a time of day that shows the space at its best.

Tour features that change results

  • Floor plan navigation so viewers can jump straight to the room they care about.
  • Hotspots with content such as finish details, equipment lists or menu items.
  • Enquiry buttons inside the tour, connected to your forms and to CS+, Canada Create™’s CRM, so leads do not get lost.
  • Analytics that show which rooms and hotspots people spend time on.
  • VR mode so the same tour opens in a headset.

For businesses with a Google Business Profile, a well-made interior tour also gives people searching nearby a reason to pick you over the next listing. Our local SEO team can place those visuals where local searchers see them.

Drone photography and aerial video

Drone photography shows what ground photos cannot: the size of a lot, the route from the highway, the view from the upper floors, the progress of a site over months. Aerial photos and video are used for real estate listings, development marketing, construction progress reports, resorts, golf courses, campgrounds, farms and event venues.

Aerial photography and video

We plan each flight around the story you need to tell: a sunrise reveal of a property, a slow orbit of a building, a top-down view of a lot with boundaries marked, or a fly-through that ends at your front door. Stills and video are colour graded to match the rest of your visuals, so drone footage and interior photos feel like one set.

Aerial photogrammetry and mapping

Aerial photogrammetry stitches many overlapping photos into a measurable result, such as an orthomosaic map, a 3D mesh or a point cloud. For marketing, these models can place a planned building onto the real site. For project teams, repeated flights create a visual record of progress. Where survey-grade accuracy is required, the work should be checked against ground control by a licensed surveyor, and we will say so up front rather than present a marketing model as a survey.

Flying legally and safely in Canada

Drone flights in Canada fall under Transport Canada rules, which cover pilot certification, how close a drone can fly to people and buildings, and permissions in controlled airspace such as areas near airports. Many urban sites need advance planning for this. We check the site location, airspace and property permissions during planning and build that time into the schedule, so the shoot day is not the first time anyone asks whether the flight is allowed.

AR and VR experiences buyers can step into

Augmented reality places a 3D model in the real world through a phone camera; virtual reality places the viewer inside the model. Both come from the same 3D assets as your renderings, which keeps the cost of adding them lower than starting from scratch.

  • AR on the web: a product, piece of furniture, kitchen island or scale building model opens on a phone with one tap, no app required. This works well on ecommerce websites where shoppers want to see size and fit.
  • VR walkthroughs: buyers wear a headset in a sales centre or at a trade show and walk through the suite, amenity floor or home at true scale.
  • Interactive configurators: viewers switch finishes, colours or layouts and see the result right away.
  • Browser 3D: models that rotate and zoom inside a web page for people who never put on a headset.

We will tell you honestly when AR or VR is worth it. For a single resale home, a strong photographed tour usually does the job. For a pre-construction project, a showroom or a product line with many variations, immersive formats can shorten the gap between interest and a decision.

Our 3D rendering workflow, step by step

A clear workflow keeps a 3D rendering project on schedule and keeps revision rounds under control. Every project is different, but most follow the same six stages.

  1. Brief and inputs: we confirm the audience, the number of views, the deadline and where the images will be used, then collect drawings, models, finish schedules and reference images.
  2. Camera views and clay renders: before any materials go on, we send low-detail grey renders of each proposed camera angle. Agreeing on composition at this stage is the cheapest way to avoid later changes.
  3. Modelling and materials: the model is built or cleaned up, then textured with materials that match your product selections, including wood grain direction, tile layout and fabric weave.
  4. Lighting and staging: we set the time of day, artificial lighting and furniture staging so the space reads the way it will feel in person.
  5. Draft renders and revisions: you review draft images and mark up changes in one consolidated list per round.
  6. Final output and delivery: final images are rendered at the resolution each channel needs, from print brochures and hoarding signs to web pages and social posts, and delivered with web-ready versions.

Rendered virtual tours, AR models and animations follow the same path and use the approved model, so nothing has to be rebuilt. When a project also includes aerial work, capture is scheduled once the camera plan is approved. Commercial drone flights in Canada follow Transport Canada rules and need a certified pilot, so that part of the schedule is set well before the shoot date.

What makes a rendering look real

Photorealism comes from lighting, materials and small imperfections more than from model detail alone. Physically based materials react to light the way real surfaces do, so matte quartz, brushed brass and oiled oak all look different under the same lamp. Accurate daylight for the building’s orientation, soft shadows, slight wear on surfaces and believable staging all matter. Images that look too clean or too evenly lit are the ones people quietly distrust.

Product, furniture and 3D animation rendering

3D rendering services also serve manufacturers, retailers and designers. The same process produces images of products that do not exist yet, or in more variations than a photo shoot can handle.

  • Product rendering: studio-style images on white, lifestyle scenes and exploded views that show how parts fit together.
  • Furniture and décor rendering: every fabric, finish and size in a collection rendered from one model, ready for an online catalogue.
  • Kitchen and bath rendering: cabinetry, counters and fixtures shown in several colour schemes for showrooms and renovation clients.
  • 3D animation and walkthrough video: a camera path through or around the model, edited with music, titles and your branding, for websites, sales centres and social media.

For online stores, rendered product images stay consistent in angle and lighting across the whole range. Category pages look orderly, and a new colour can be added without booking a new shoot.

How 3D rendering and virtual tour costs are worked out

There is no single price for 3D rendering or virtual tour services, because the work depends on what you are showing and how many ways you need to show it. Rather than quote a number that will change once we see the drawings, we separate the cost into parts you can compare.

Main cost drivers

  • Number of deliverables: stills, 360 panoramas, video seconds, AR models and tour stops.
  • Model complexity: a simple interior costs less to model than a tower with a detailed facade, landscaping and neighbouring context.
  • Input quality: complete CAD or BIM files reduce modelling time; sketches and photos add it.
  • Revision rounds: each change after a model is lit and staged takes time, so agreeing on camera views early saves money.
  • Site conditions for capture: travel, access, airspace planning, weather days and the size of the space.
  • Interactivity: hotspots, floor plans, configurators and CRM connections add build time.

Setup, monthly and third-party costs

We quote in three separate lines so nothing hides inside another. Production is the one-time cost of modelling, rendering, capture and editing. Monthly management covers tour hosting, updates, analytics and marketing if you want us to run it. Third-party costs include tour platform subscriptions, stock assets, travel and any ad spend, which you see at cost.

Are there free 3D rendering or virtual tour options?

Some platforms offer free tiers or phone apps that stitch a basic tour. They can work for a quick internal look. For marketing, the usual limits are image quality, branding on the viewer, hosting caps and no connection to your forms or CRM. We are happy to review what you have and tell you whether it is good enough to keep.

Per-image, per-project and hourly 3D rendering pricing

Most 3D rendering studios price by the image or by the project; hourly rates are more common for open-ended modelling and changes. Knowing which model a quote uses helps you compare quotes fairly.

  • Per image: a set fee per final still, usually with a fixed number of revision rounds. It is easy to budget, but it can hide the cost of building the model if that is not listed separately.
  • Per project: one price for a defined package of stills, panoramas, animation and tour stops. This works well when the scope is clear from the start.
  • Hourly: used for modelling from rough inputs, extra revision rounds and ongoing updates. Ask for an estimate of hours and a cap.

How much it costs to have a 3D model made

The 3D model and the rendered image are two different pieces of work. Building the model is often the larger share of a first project, while rendering extra views from an existing model costs much less. That is why it pays to ask who owns the model and in what format it is delivered. If you already have a usable SketchUp, Revit or similar model, share it. If not, the new model becomes an asset you can reuse for later stills, tours, AR and marketing updates.

Can AI render my 3D model?

AI tools can produce quick concept images, but they are not yet a replacement for an accurate 3D rendering you can sell from. Image generators, including chat assistants such as ChatGPT, can turn a text prompt or a rough sketch into an attractive picture in seconds. That is useful for early mood boards and brainstorming.

The limits show up when accuracy matters. AI images can change window counts, invent materials, bend proportions and alter the layout from one image to the next. They do not know your finish schedule, and they cannot confirm that a kitchen island is the right size or that a balcony matches the drawings. When you market a real project, buyers may rely on what they see, so those errors carry risk.

In a professional workflow, AI is most useful where it saves time without touching accuracy, such as early concept exploration and quick mood studies. The geometry, materials and camera views in final marketing images should come from a model built to your drawings.

How to get a 3D rendering of your house

Homeowners can get a 3D rendering of a new build, addition or renovation by sharing drawings, measurements and photos with a rendering team. The steps are simple.

  1. Gather what you have: architect or designer drawings, a site plan, measurements of existing rooms and photos of the current house from several angles.
  2. Decide what you need to see: the front exterior, a new kitchen, a backyard, or a before and after comparison. A few well-chosen views usually beat many quick ones.
  3. Collect finish ideas: product links, paint colours, flooring samples and inspiration images.
  4. Review camera views first: approve the angles before materials and lighting are added.
  5. Use the images: share them with your contractor, designer, family or lender so everyone agrees on the plan before work starts.

A rendering is a visual tool. Permits, structural decisions and building code questions stay with your architect, engineer and municipality.

In-house or outsourced 3D rendering

Learning a rendering program yourself makes sense when you need occasional, simple images; outsourcing makes sense when quality, speed or volume matter. Architects, designers and builders weigh this choice often.

  • Doing it in-house gives you control and quick iterations, but it takes software licences, a capable computer and many hours of practice before the images compete with professional work.
  • Outsourcing frees your team to design and sell. You pay for finished images rather than learning time, and you get lighting, staging and post-production skills that take years to build.
  • A mix works for many firms: quick in-house massing and clay views during design, then outsourced final images for marketing, approvals and sales.

Common mistakes that slow rendering projects down

  • Sending incomplete drawings and filling the gaps through revisions.
  • Changing camera views after materials and lighting are finished.
  • Collecting feedback from several people in separate emails instead of one marked-up list.
  • Leaving out where the images will be used, which affects resolution, crop and aspect ratio.
  • Not asking about file ownership until the next project needs the model.

Putting your visuals to work on your website, listings and ads

A rendering nobody sees does not sell anything. Because Canada Create™ is a web and marketing agency first, every visual project comes with a plan for where it will live and who will see it.

  • Your website: we build project pages, galleries and embedded tours that load fast on phones. If your site runs on WordPress, our WordPress development team handles the build, and our web design team handles the layout.
  • Speed and hosting: high-resolution panoramas and video are heavy. We compress, lazy-load and serve them properly, and our website hosting keeps them available.
  • Search: descriptive file names, alt text, structured data and project pages that answer real questions help your visuals show up in image and map results. Our SEO services start from CAD 1,500 per month.
  • Ads: renderings and short aerial clips are strong creative for search, display, video and social campaigns. Our Google Ads team sends qualified traffic to the tour, not just the homepage.
  • Lead capture: every enquiry from a tour or project page lands in CS+ with the source attached, so your sales team knows which visual started the conversation.

Choosing a 3D visualization partner

The right partner asks about your buyer before asking about your file formats. Whoever you hire, these questions separate a smooth project from a long one.

  1. How many revision rounds are included, and what counts as a revision? Get this in writing.
  2. Who owns the model and the files at the end? You should be able to reuse your model for future stills, tours and AR.
  3. What happens after delivery? Ask who hosts the tour, who updates it and what it costs to keep online.
  4. How will the visuals reach buyers? A team that also builds websites and runs campaigns can connect the work to results.
  5. How are drone flights planned and permitted? Ask how airspace and property permissions are checked before the shoot.
  6. Can they show work similar to yours? Look at projects of the same type, not only the best image in the portfolio.

If you are comparing options, send us your drawings or address and a short note on what you need to show. We will come back with the formats we would recommend, the ones we would skip, and a clear proposal in one business day.

I had a great experience working with this business. They helped me build my tutoring website from scratch and guided me through the entire process. I knew nothing about how the process worked, but they were professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to understand what I wanted, handled the setup and design, and made sure everything worked properly. I’m very happy with the final result and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help creating a professional website or getting their business online.

We hired Canada Create to help strengthen the online marketing for Marvel Car Clinic and the results have been very positive. They developed our new website and managed the Google Ads strategy around our main automotive services including paint protection film (PPF), vehicle wraps and ceramic coating. The biggest improvement for me has been the overall quality of our online presence. Customers can now clearly see what we offer, the website is much more professional and our advertising is bringing relevant people directly to the services they are searching for. Their team understands conversion and lead generation, not just design. Everything from the website layout to the advertising campaigns feels like it was created with the goal of getting more customers. Great communication, professional work and strong results. I would recommend Canada Create to any Toronto or GTA business looking for Google Ads management, website development and digital marketing.

We’ve had a great experience working with Canada Create on the digital marketing for Marvel Car Clinic. They completely improved our online presence with a professionally designed new website and a much stronger Google Ads strategy. Our business specializes in car wraps, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating and automotive protection services, so attracting the right type of customer is extremely important. The Canada Create team took the time to understand our services, our target market and what actually makes a customer contact us. Since launching the new website and Google Ads campaigns, we’ve seen a noticeable improvement in the quality of inquiries coming in. The website looks professional, is easy to navigate and presents our car wrap, PPF and ceramic coating services much better than before. What we appreciate most is that they focus on results instead of simply running ads. Communication has been great, changes are handled quickly and the team is always looking for ways to improve the campaigns. If you’re looking for a digital marketing agency in Toronto for Google Ads, website design and lead generation, I would definitely recommend Canada Create.

Questions about 3D rendering and virtual tours

How much do 3D rendering and virtual tour services cost?

It depends on the number of views or tour stops, model complexity, the quality of your drawings, revision rounds and site conditions. We quote production, monthly management and third-party costs as separate lines after reviewing your project.

What is the difference between a rendered and a photographed virtual tour?

A rendered tour is created from a 3D model, so it works for spaces that are not built yet. A photographed tour is captured on site with a 360 camera and shows a finished space as it really is.

What files do you need for 3D architectural rendering?

CAD drawings or a BIM or SketchUp model, elevations, a site plan and a finish schedule are the most useful. We can work from sketches and photos, but modelling takes longer.

How long does a 3D rendering project take?

Small projects with complete drawings often take a few weeks from brief to final files. Larger packages with tours, drone work and AR take longer, and we give you a schedule with the proposal.

Can drones fly anywhere in Canada?

No. Drone flights follow Transport Canada rules on pilot certification, distance from people and permissions in controlled airspace, such as near airports. We check the site and permissions during planning.

What is aerial photogrammetry used for?

It turns overlapping aerial photos into maps, 3D meshes or point clouds. Common uses include placing a planned building on a real site and recording construction progress. Survey-grade work should be verified by a licensed surveyor.

Are there free 3D rendering or virtual tour options?

Some platforms and phone apps offer free tiers. They can be fine for internal use, but often limit quality, branding, hosting and lead capture, which matters for marketing.

Do your virtual tours work in VR headsets?

Yes, tours can include a VR mode, and rendered projects can be built as full headset walkthroughs for sales centres and trade shows.

Who owns the 3D model and files?

Ownership and reuse rights are set out in your proposal, so you know up front what you can reuse for future stills, tours and AR.

Can you add the tour and renderings to my website and ads?

Yes. As a web and marketing agency, we build the pages, embed the tours, optimize loading speed and run campaigns that send buyers to them.

You don't want to miss this

Not sure which format you need?
