How to Create Online Polls in WordPress

The first step is to install and set up WPForms on your WordPress site.

Once that’s complete, you’ll see your WPForms dashboard. Make sure to copy your license key, as you’ll need it to access all the Pro features during the plugin installation in WordPress.

Now, you can proceed to install and activate the WPForms plugin. Let’s navigate to thePlugins»Add New Pluginsection in your WordPress dashboard.

Next, use the search bar to quickly locate the WPForms plugin.

In the search results, click the ‘Install Now’ button, then click ‘Activate’ when it appears.

By default, the WPForms poll template shows poll results to users after they cast their votes. If you turn off this option, users will not see the results.

Alternatively, you can display a custom message to users or redirect them to a different page or URL.

To set this up, go to the ‘Confirmation’ tab and select your desired ‘Confirmation Type’ from the dropdown menu.

After creating your poll form, click the ‘Save’ button to save your form settings.

Integrating the Poll into Your WordPress Website

WPForms simplifies the process of adding online polls to your website, allowing you to place them in posts, pages, custom post types, and sidebar widgets.

To embed your poll form, simply click the ‘Embed’ button in the form builder.
