For example, you may only have access to a few basic settings such as site identity, homepage settings, and additional CSS.

Bonus: How to Restore the Missing Menu Tab in the WordPress Admin Sidebar
If you are using a block theme, you may notice that the Appearance » Menu tab is no longer available. This tab is typically used to access the ‘Menus’ page and add a navigation menu to your WordPress site.
Unfortunately, this option is not visible in block themes. Instead, you can navigate to the Appearance » Editor page from the WordPress dashboard and click the ‘Add Block’ (+) button located at the top left corner.
From there, you can select the ‘Navigation’ block from the block menu that appears.
Then, click the ‘+’ button within the block to add page links and create your menu. Once you finish, remember to click the ‘Save’ button at the top.
Alternatively, you can regain access to the Menus tab by switching to a classic WordPress theme. However, be aware that doing so will erase all your theme customization settings.
